Athlete support
Sport Richmond can support individual athletes with small one-off grants, for example towards the costs of representing the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in national or international competitions or displays.
Athlete grants
Athletes need to live, work or study within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Applications must provide a case for supporting the athlete, a breakdown of the costs involved and how the grant would be used. Supporting evidence (e.g. links to event participation details) is helpful and a supporting statement from a suitably qualified person, usually a club coach, is required. Evidence of actual expenditure (quotations, receipts, invoices etc) must be provided.
